Presentation Proclaiming American Cancer Society Bark For Life Day in the City of Ramsey
Purpose/Background:
Purpose: The purpose of this presentation is to proclaim Saturday, June 6, 2015, as the American Cancer Society Bark for Life Day in the City of Ramsey.
Background: Saturday, June 6, 2015, will be the fourth annual Bark for Life cancer fund raising event in The Draw Park. This event has raised over $25,000 for cancer research over the last three years. Kim Gust, Chair of the Bark for Life, and a Ramsey resident, will be present at the Council meeting to accept the proclamation. Council will be adopting a formal resolution on the Consent Agenda this evening proclaiming Bark for Life Day in the City of Ramsey.
