Title:
Recognize Ramsey as a Heart Safe Community
Purpose/Background:
Purpose: To publicly recognize the achievement of the City of Ramsey officially becoming a Minnesota Heart Safe Community.
Background. The City of Ramsey has officially met all criteria required to become a Minnesota Heart Safe Community. An award presentation is scheduled for the this evening. Heart Safe- Ramsey will continue to work at its mission of increasing survival rates of sudden cardiac arrest by educating the public in hands-only bystander CPR and proper AED use. 572 residents have been trained so far.
Heart Safe- Ramsey Champion Tim Hoffman will be present.
