Title
Adopt Resolution #15-10-250 Accepting Cash Donations to be Applied Toward the Happy Days Festival Fund
Purpose/Background:
As of 2014, MN State Statute 465.03 requires that the City pass a resolution formally accepting any/all donations or grants. This new Statute applies to the Ramsey Happy Days Festival. Attached to this case is a resolution to formally accept donations for the Ramsey Happy Days Festival. Staff anticipates this resolution to be reviewed and adopted by the City Council on an annual basis.
Also attached to this case is a current copy of the 2015 Happy Days Festival budget, for your reference. The contributions made by our sponsors help us to operate this event on a balanced budget.
