Introduce New Charter Commission Member Mark Barrows and Receive Update on Commissioner Terms

Purpose:  The purpose of this case is to introduce and officially welcome the newest Charter Commission Member Mark Barrows as well as to receive an update on the Commissioner's terms.

Background:  Staff received notification of Mr. Barrows' appointment to the Ramsey Charter Commission from  the Chief Judge of the Tenth Judicial District.  Mr. Barrows is replacing Harry Niska, with a term through December 31, 2018.  City Clerk Thieling issued the Oath of Office to Commissioner Barrows on July 1, 2016.

Susan Anderson - term to expire 12/31/2017
Mark R. Barrows - term to expire 12/31/2018
Jim Bendtsen - term to expire 12/31/2016
Ben Deemer - term to expire 12/31/2017
Joseph A. Field - term to expire 12/31/2016
John Niederhaus - term to expire 12/31/2017
Chad Sivertson - term to expire 12/31/2017
