Title:
Recommend to City Council the Final Approval for 2016 Parks Capital Improvements
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is to recommend three of the 2016 Parks Capital Improvements for City Council consideration. Please see pages 8-11 of the attached, city-wide CIP for additional background.
Notification:
Observations/Alternatives:
The three projects that are ready for implementation at this time are the drinking fountain (with misting station) on page 96 of the attached CIP document, the large filtration system for The Draw's irrigation (pg. 104), and expanded parking at Central Park (pg. 97).

Funding Source:
The Park Improvement Trust Fund would be the funding source for each of the aforementioned capital improvements.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends proceeding with the three capital improvements, pursuant to the description, justification and funding sources identified on CIP worksheets; pages 96, 97 and 104.
Action:
Motion to recommend to City Council, proceeding with the three, 2016 capital improvements, pursuant to the description, justification and funding sources identified on the CIP worksheets.
