Receive Presentation on Irrigation System Components and an Overview of Incentive Programs

A representative from Conserva Irrigation will be in attendance to give a presentation on water conserving technologies available for irrigation systems.  Additionally, through their work with the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA), an overview of some incentive/rebate programs that encourage the use of these newer technologies will also be included.  The purpose of this case is to provide a more in depth look at irrigation system technologies and what the associated costs may be.  The intention is to equip the Board with the necessary knowledge as it contemplates an ordinance amendment related to in-ground irrigation systems later this evening.  Furthermore, this may spark ideas to consider for creating an incentive-based program for Ramsey residents (and possibly businesses). 

This case is being handled as part of Staff's regular duties.
