Title
Approve Joint Powers Agreement between the City of Ramsey and County of Anoka for Assessment of Property
Purpose/Background:
As Council is aware, the City of Ramsey contracts with Anoka County for property assessment. It is once again time to renew the five-year contract. Attached is a copy of the Joint Powers Agreement (JPA). It should be noted that the fees listed under Section V of the JPA are the same rates as the 2013 - 2017 JPA agreement. The City's annual payment to the County for their assessment services is approximately $139,000.
Action:
Motion to approve the Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County for the 2018 through 2023 Assessment Contract.
