Title

Approve Amendment to Comprehensive Plan Amendment Application for Armstrong West Area

Purpose/Background:

In February, 2017, the City Council authorized an Application for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment for the area generally west of Armstrong Boulevard along Bunker Lake Boulevard and Puma Street. The Amendment included two (2) general areas.

Future Business Park
Riverstone Addition (Capstone Homes)

This Amendment combined these two projects into one (1) Application. For clarity in final approval, Staff desires to separate these as separate amendments. The adjustment also reflects Preliminary Plat Approval for Riverstone Addition.

Notification:

Notification is not required to update the Application for Comprehensive Plan Amendment to separate the two projects.

Funding Source:

This case is being handled as part of normal Staff duties.

Recommendation:

Staff recommends approval of the attached resolutions. The Planning Commission previously recommended approval of these amendments combined as well as the respective development projects.

Action:

Motion to adopt Resolution #17-07-172 approving an adjusted Application for Comprehensive Plan Amendment for Riverstone Addition and #17-07-173 approving an adjusted Application for Comprehensive Plan Amendment for the Future Business Park.
