Title:
Follow-up on Visioning Exercise and Discuss Objectives—Parks Master Plan
Purpose/Background:
At the regular June 8, 2017 Park and Recreation Commission meeting, the Commission reviewed Goals and Strategies from the previous Comprehensive Plan (Chapter 10 attached), and also participated in a Visioning exercise. The summary and synthesis of that activity is attached, with the 'key words' portion refined into Objective Statements.

Funding Source:
Funding for the Parks System Master Plan is included within the 2017 General Fund budget.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends a thorough discussion on this topic of Vision and Objectives, as it will place into context the Commission's next work on the Parks Master Plan.

Based upon discussion.
