Each year, the American Planning Association celebrates October as National Community Planning Month. This year carries special meaning for Ramsey as it completes an update to our Comprehensive Plan. This is also an opportunity to celebrate our community leaders and planners, especially the Planning Commission and the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee.

Community Development Director Tim Gladhill will provide an update on various planning activities occurring in the community, including public workshops later this month to continue progress on the Comprehensive Plan and the City's partnership with the University of Minnesota through the Resilient Communities Project.

This year's theme for National Community Planning Month is 'Innovations in Planning'.
