Adopt Ordinance #17-18 Amending Street Names in the Riverstone Subdivision; Case of Capstone Homes/Riverstone Development, LLC

The purpose of this case is to introduce an ordinance officially amending street names in the Riverstone subdivision. On September 12, 2017, the City Council approved a framework of a deviation from the Anoka County street name grid. This step is the official process to change the names on the plat that was already recorded (first phase of Riverstone). Moving forward, the City will not need to do a follow up ordinance for street names; amended street names will simply be incorporated in future plats for subsequent phases.

The approved street name amendments are as follows (as it pertains to Riverstone only):

All costs associated with processing the application are the responsibility of the Applicant. There are no occupied dwellings on these streets at this time, so no impacts to existing residents or businesses will be experienced.

Staff recommends approval of the ordinance.
