Title
Adopt Resolution #17-12-314 Establishing Precinct and Polling Locations for 2018 Election Year
Purpose/Background:
Purpose: To establish polling locations for 2018.
Background: The language in State Statutes now requires both cities and school districts to pass a resolution prior to December 31st of each year setting polling places for the following year. This must be done even if there are no changes in locations. Attached to this case is a memo from the Secretary of State's Office explaining the reasoning for this action. Also attached is the resolution for adoption establishing the polling locations. Council should note there are no changes to the City's polling places.
