Title
Approve Rescheduling of First Council Meeting in August to August 6, 2018
Purpose/Background:
Purpose: To formally reschedule the first meeting in August to August 6.
Background: The normal meeting date for the first Council meeting in August is August 14. Due to the Primary Election, that date was rescheduled to Monday, August 13. Staff was contacted by QCTV that upgrades are planned for the Council Chambers and they need about 17 days to compete the job. Moving the first meeting up one week, to August 6, will allow the amount of time needed to perform the work.
