Title:
Membership in Mississippi River Cities and Towns Initiative 2019
Purpose/Background:
The City of Ramsey has been a member of the Mississippi River Cities and Towns Initiative (MRCTI) for the last couple of years and has membership included in the 2019 budget in the amount of $3000.
Staff is recommending that we not renew the membership for 2019 and focus on other priorities such as transportation efforts. The organization has value if the City is able to fully engage in its various activities, however, based upon current priorities and interests of the Mayor, Council, and staff, being active in this group would be difficult.
