Title:
Proclamation Declaring October 2019 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Purpose/Background:
Purpose: To proclaim October 2019 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Background: At the request of the Alexandra House, and the Purple Lights Initiative, the City Council will consider a resolution on their Consent Agenda this evening proclaiming October 2019 Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Mayor LeTourneau will read the proclamation at this time. The proclamation is attached.
A signed proclamation will be mailed to the Alexandra House for display at their HopeFest event, which takes place on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the YMCA in Lino Lakes.
