Title:
Approve Registered Land Survey (“RLS”) for property acquired from Ramsey-Arbor Properties, LLC
Background:
Council is aware that the City acquired from Ramsey-Arbor Properties, LLC a triangle piece of property 8333 square feet in size adjacent to Armstrong Boulevard NW lying south of Highway 10 NW and north of Riverdale Drive NW. The purpose of the acquisition is for future street right-of-way and the proposed interchange at Armstrong Boulevard and Highway 10. The subject property is Torrens or registered property. As such the deed cannot be recorded until an Registered Land Survey (RLS) is approved and recorded. The RLS must be approved by City Council action. The part of the property acquired by the City is Tract B as shown on the attached RLS drawing.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval of the referenced RLS.
Council Action:
Motion to approve the RLS for that property legally described as follows:
Lot 1, Block 1, ALPACA ESTATES, according to the map or plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder in and for Anoka County, Minnesota.
