Title:
Review Site Plan for New Public Works Campus; Case of City of Ramsey
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is to review the site plan for a new Public Works Campus for the City of Ramsey.
Notification:
Notification is not required.
Observations/Alternatives:
The site is located within the Public/Quasi-Public Zoning District. Generally speaking, this District directs the City to review based on the surrounding area, in which this case is the E-1 Employment District. Since this is a City-Led Project, a full traditional staff review is not provided. However, the site plan is fully reviewed by Staff and the findings of that review are included in this case.
Construction is anticipated to commence in October, 2020, pending final City Council approval.

A full financial report will be available with City Council review.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the City approve the site plan for the new Public Works Campus.
Action:
Motion to recommend that the City Council approve the site plan for the new Public Work Campus, contingent upon final review by City Staff as to conformance with City Code.
