Title:
Adopt Resolution #20-234 Approving Abatement at 14700 Armstrong Blvd NW
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is to approve an abatement at 14700 Armstrong Blvd NW (The "Subject Property"). The Subject Property has a few inoperable vehicles, or vehicle pieces, and some vehicles parked on the grass. Staff has been attempting to work with the Subject Property Owner to come to City Council for an agreement on areas that are lawful, non-conforming for gravel parking, however they have been unresponsive. These items are unrelated to the lawful, non-conforming use of the property for gravel parking, instead they are related to nuisance items such as inoperable vehicles. The vehicles have been onsite for quite some time and the property received the first notice this year in May 2020 to remove the items.
Notification:
No notification is required, though Staff attempted to notify the property owner.
Funding Source:
Staff handles Code Enforcement as part of regular duties.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends adoption of Resolution #20-234
