Title
Adopt Resolution #20-239 Authorizing Final Payment to Asphalt Surface Technologies for Improvement Project #19-01, Ford Brook Estates Street Reconstruction.
Purpose/Background:
Resolution and Pay Estimate Final Attached.
Observations/Alternatives:
Issuing final payment will be contingent on receipt of the following items from Asphalt Surface Technologies:
- IC 134 (Contractor’s Withholding Affidavit showing compliance with the provisions of Minnesota Statute 290.92 requiring withholding state income tax)
- Waiver of Mechanic’s Lien Rights (Affidavits that all claims against Asphalt Surface Technologies by reasons of the contract have been fully paid or satisfactorily secured)
- Consent of Surety to Final Payment (Certification from the contractor’s surety)
Recommendation:
The Engineering Technician IV has inspected the completed work and recommends approving final payment to Asphalt Surface Technologies (ASTECH) for Improvement Project #19-01, Ford Brook Estates Street Reconstruction in the amount of $17,615.09.
Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #20-239 authorizing final payment to Asphalt Surface Technologies (ASTECH) for Improvement Project 19-01, Ford Brook Estates Street Reconstruction in the amount of $17,615.09.
