Title:
Receive Request from Planning Commission to Reconsider Bowers Drive Connection
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is to receive a request from the Planning Commission to reconsider previous City Council direction to NOT include a second connection on the southern end of Bowers Drive as part of the Riverstone South Subdivision. The Planning Commission Chair will be in attendance to present the request.
As part of Sketch Plan Review (concept plan - precursor to Preliminary Plat), the City Council directed Staff and Developer to NOT include this second connection.

Observations/Alternatives:
Alternatives
- Take no action - retain previous direction to not include connection
- Motion to direct Staff and Developer to add connection to Preliminary Plat
Funding Source:
This case is being handled as part of normal Staff duties.
Recommendation:
The Planning Commission approved (on a 3-2 vote) a motion recommending that the City Council reconsider the connection to Bowers Drive, at (sic) some form, for public safety reasons.
Action:
Based on discussion.
