Adopt Resolution #21-054 Approving an Interim Use Permit for an Accessory Structure for the Church of St. Katharine Drexel

The request comes from Chairperson Randy Bauer of the Ramsey Planning Commission, who is also a representative of the Church of St. Katharine Drexel. The City attempted to notify Property Owners, as reflected in the Anoka County Property Records, within 350 feet of the Subject Property of the request and public hearing. No additional notification was provided for this meeting.

Site Information
The Subject Property is approximately 33.18 acres, and zoned R-1 Residential District (MUSA). The proposed location of the structure is near the center of the parcel, outlined on the attached site plan. There are large layers of vegetative screening to the west and south of the proposed structure, reducing vision from 161st Ave and Variolite St.

The Planning Commission voted 3-0 recommending approval to the Ramsey City Council for Resolution #21-054 for an Interim Use Permit for an Accessory Structure on the Subject Property. Please note that two members of the Planning Commission abstained from discussion/vote as they are members of St. Katharine Drexel.
