Title:
Appoint Chairperson and Vice Chairperson
Purpose/Background:
Chair Steffen has notified Staff that he will be stepping down as Chair of the EDA. Each year the EDA appoints officers for one-year terms. The term of appointment is April 1, 2021 - March 31, 2022. Based on the vacancy that will be created by Chair Steffen, the EDA should nominate member(s) for each position and select officers for the remaining time in the one-year term.

Based on the voluntary vacancy for Chair created by Chair Steffen, Staff is recommending that appointments for both the Chair and Vice Chair be considered at the August 2021 EDA meeting.
