Discuss a Date for a Joint Work Session with the Planning Commission and the Economic Development Authority. - Please Note:  the order of the cases was changed at  the meeting.

The purpose of this discussion is to select a date when the City Council, the Planning Commission and the Economic Development Authority can hold a joint work session to discuss topics of mutual concern.  Note, this case was scheduled for the July 27, 2021 work session; however, due to time constraints, it has been rescheduled for this evening. 

At this time, the proposed dates are  either Thursday, September 23 or Thursday, September 30, 2021.  The date for the joint session was originally planned to Tuesday, October 12, 2021; however that date is no longer an option due to scheduling conflicts.  Please note, holding a special meeting in August is less than desirable due to time commitments already made for City legal services interviews and the Deputy City Administrator/Community Development Director position interviews, plus possible vacation conflicts of participants.
