Title
Adopt Resolution #21-353 Authorizing Execution of Certain Deeds and Documents on Behalf of the City of Ramsey Housing and Redevelopment Authority by Current City of Ramsey Officials.
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is to transfer City of Ramsey HRA owned properties to the City of Ramsey
On November 12, 2014 the Ramsey Housing and Redevelopment Authority (Ramsey HRA) adopted Resolution #14-11-236 Approving the transfer of HRA Property to the City. The resolution identified 28 parcels to be transferred to the City of Ramsey along with all other assets the HRA had. The City Council subsequently adopted Resolution #14-12-262 Dissolving the Ramsey Housing and Redevelopment Authority on December 9, 2014 with an effective date of December 31, 2014 and affirming that the property and assets of the HRA are to be transferred to the City.
City Staff has identified two properties identified in the HRA Resolution that have not yet been transferred to the City of Ramsey These parcels include:
1) 35-32-25-13-0005 (Lot 4, Block 1, Riverside West)
2) 28-32-25-21-0033 (formerly Outlot D, RTC 8th Addition, remnant now platted as Outlot A, COR THREE with a new Tax ID number of 28-32-25-21-0094)
Staff has worked with the City Attorney to draft a Resolution to authorize legally transferring these properties into the name of the City of Ramsey.

The cost of the filing the deeds of transfer will be from 9230-6315 (EDA Professional Services)
