Title:
Discuss Mayor's Recommendations of Desirable Changes and Improvements Pursuant to City Charter 2.6.2
Background:
The City's Charter, Chapter 2, Section 2.6.2 states the following: "Consistent with the responsibility to accept considerable leadership over the general conduct of city affairs, the mayor shall study the operations of the city government and recommend desirable changes and improvements to the council." Pursuant to the Charter, Mayor Ramsey will be bringing forward recommendations, for Council discussion, for desirable changes and improvements. Attached to this report is a copy of Section 2.6 of the City's Charter.
A case has been placed on the regular Council agenda for this evening, to take any necessary action on this report, based upon discussion.
