Title
Adopt Resolution #22-034, Declaring Play Equipment at Two Parks Surplus Property for Removal and Disposal
Purpose/Background:
At the regular January Park and Recreation Commission meeting, the Commission acknowledged the two playgrounds recommended for removals pursuant to the recently adopted Playground Replacement Policy. The attached resolution declares the two play equipment structures surplus property, which is the proper administrative form to dispose of public property.
Separate from these two parks, the Commission also directed Staff to mail an invitation to 89 neighbors of Rabbit Park to ascertain their desires for the removal, and potential replacement of the play equipment there, thus implementing the new policy. Further action on Rabbit Park to come.
