Title:
Discuss Future Meetings For MUSA Boundary and COR Design Framework
Purpose/Background:
At the March 22, 2022 Council Work Session there was support to move forward with joint meetings to review two topics. Council further desired to establish a strategy and goal for these discussions to ensure a productive meeting. Staff is further seeking input on what supporting material would be beneficial to include in the future packets for review during these meetings.
One topic would include a review of the COR Design Framework. This topic would include the City Council, Planning Commission and Economic Development Authority. The second topic would review of the MUSA Boundary. This could include a brief overview of the the City's requirement to maintain a density minimum, the current projected density and the current actual density. The MUSA Boundary discussion would include the City Council and Planning Commission.

Timeframe:
Establish strategy to complete these discussions. It was briefly discussed at the March 22, 2022 Council Work Session to hold these either on open evenings (with more time allowed) or prior to Planning Commission meetings (required to adjourn prior to the 7:00pm meeting).
