Title:
Rain Barrel and Compost Bin Sale Update
Purpose/Background:
This is a brief update on the Rain Barrel and Compost Bin sales event. As of Monday, May 9, 2022, there were thirty-six (36) rain barrels and forty-two (42) compost bins still available for purchase. The Recycling Association of Minnesota (RAM) has said that as other distribution events come and go, they are promoting this opportunity more and more to individuals interested in purchasing. Staff has information on the sale on the City's website (one of the 'Spotlights') and published information in the May/June issue of the Ramsey Resident newsletter. The distribution event will occur on June 13, 2022, from 3pm to 6pm at the City's Public Works facility (14199 Jaspar Street NW). Information on both products is attached.
