Title:
Background:
Mayor Ramsey has requested that the City appoint other representatives to the Lower Rum River Water Management Organization (WMO), Quad Cities Cable Communications Commission (QCTV), and Youth First Community of Promise Board (Youth First), to replace him starting in December.
Councilmember McGlone has agreed to serve as Commissioner for QCTV, Councilmember Backous, who is currently the alternate for the WMO, will serve as the representative, and Councilmember Tossey has agreed to serve on the Youth First Board.
At the beginning of each year, the Mayor makes recommendations for Council appointments to the various boards and commissions/committees. At the first regular Council meeting for 2012, new appointments will be done more formally -by adoption of a resolution.
