Title
Cancel the Public Hearing for Easement Vacation within Parkside Townhomes (Project No. 22-143) - APPLICATION WITHDRAWN
Purpose/Background:
The City received an application from COR at Ramsey, LLC (the "Applicant") for a vacation of existing drainage and utility easements within the Parkside Townhomes project site, which is bounded by Rhinestone Street, 146th Avenue, Ramsey Parkway, and Traprock Street (the "Subject Property"). Subsequently, the Applicant provided a written notice that he was withdrawing this application, as well as the final plat application. The Applicant anticipates submitting new applications this winter with the hope of a 2024 project. Notice of the Public Hearing had been advertised in the local newspaper, and a notification had also been mailed to property owners within 700 feet of the Subject Property prior to receiving the written request to withdraw the applications. Due to the request to withdraw the applications, no action is needed at this time and the Public Hearing is officially cancelled.
Notification:
Public notification was made in the May 2, 2023, Anoka Union Herald and utility companies were provided with email notifications.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends cancelling the public hearing due to the the Applicant's request to withdraw the application.
Action:
Motion to cancel the public hearing for Parkside Townhomes easement vacation.
