Title
Adopt Resolution #23-133 Adopting 2023 Strategic Plan
Purpose/Background:
The City Council and City Staff held Special City Council meetings on April 24, 2023 and June 6, 2023 as planning sessions to review the progress made on the 2021-2022 Strategic Plan, and to establish a revised 2023 Strategic Plan. The City Council held a final review of the plan at their June 13, 2023 Work Session. The 2023 Strategic Plan received updates to the City's values, objectives, strategies and action items. Key adjustments to the plan include better recognition of the service organization the City is to its residents, business owners and the public visiting Ramsey. Furthermore, the plan updates action items the City plans to accomplish in order to improve what Ramsey offers to the public through infrastructure, services and amenities.
Observations/Alternatives:
Specific content of the Strategic Plan is included in the attached document.
Funding Source:
This case is being handled as part of normal Staff duties. Anticipated budgetary impacts, timelines, and the responsible staff position are identified in the document.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends adoption of the 2023 Strategic Plan.
Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #23-133 Adopting the 2023 Strategic Plan.
