Title:
PUBLIC HEARING - Easement vacation in COR TWO.
Purpose/Background:
With the replatting of three lots into two lots associated with the Aldi project, there are several existing easements that are no longer needed. All existing drainage and utility easements are proposed to be vacated and re-established with the proposed plat of COR FOUR. This situation is common for replatting of multiple platted parcels.
The utility companies that responded to the notification stated that there were no objections to this proposal.

Notification:
Public hearing notices were mailed to property owners within 350 feet of the site. A legal notice was placed in the June 23 Anoka Union Herald Newspaper. Private utility companies were notified via email.

1. Approve the easement vacation request as recommended by staff.

All costs associated with this request are the responsibility of ISG, Inc., on behalf of Aldi (the applicant).
Recommendation:
Staff recommends vacating the existing drainage and utility easements.
Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #23-150 vacating drainage and utility easements in the plat of COR TWO.
