Title:
PUBLIC HEARING - Adopt Resolution #24-062 Vacating Various Easements in Ramsey Town Center.
Purpose/Background:
This request is related to the roadway vacations the City Council approved on January 23. Three platted drainage and utility easements encumber portions of property that will be replatted with the plat of COR Five, also on tonight's agenda. The easements are currently not used with any City infrastructure.
Notification:
A public hearing was posted in the February 12, 2024, Anoka Union Herald Newspaper. Email notices were provided to all of the private utility companies operating in Ramsey.
Only one company, Comcast, responded statin that they had no utilities in those areas and did not object to the proposed vacation.

Funding Source:
This work is being conducted as a part of staff's normal duties.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends vacating the easements.
Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #24-062 Vacating Various Easements in Ramsey Town Center.
