Strategic Planning Session

On February 1, 2024 the City Council met with various staff members to conduct the first session of the 2024 Strategic Planning Sessions.  From that evening, the group generally recognized areas the city is doing well in and areas the city could do better in.  Further discussion included opportunities and impacts in the coming five years.  Following the evening, staff reviewed the 2023 Strategic Plan for amendments to propose to the City Council.  The existing plan includes action items that are in progress, and once complete, will improve the city.  Many of the identified items are reoccurring or ongoing.

Discussion on action items the City Council would like to see added or adjusted will be held.  Formal adoption is expected at the March 26th City Council meeting.

This is being handled under normal staff duties.
