Title:
Public Hearing - Adopt Resolution #24-128 Vacating Easements in Harmony Farms.
Purpose/Background:
The plat of Harmony Farms from 1997 incuded a drainage and utility easement over a wetland on the southern portion of the site. The easement is proposed to be vacated and then re-established with U.S. Home, LLC's (Lennar) plat of Harmony Farms 2nd Addition with some slight modifications to its shape. That plat was approved on May 14. The vacation will be recorded immediately prior to recording of the plat to ensure a continuity of protection for the wetland.
The private utility companies that responded to the public hearing notice noted that they had no facilities located within this easement.

Notification:
A public hearing notice was published in the April 26 Anoka Union Herald Newspaper. Private utility companies were provided a 30-day notice via email.
Funding Source:
All costs associated with this case are the responsibility of the applicant.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends vacating the easement.
Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #24-128 Vacating Easements in Harmony Farms.
