Adopt Resolution #24-308 Approving Withdraw from Northwestern Anoka County Community Consortium

The formal resolution withdrawing from this JPA will be added to the packet prior to the meeting.

At the October 22, 2024 Work Session, the City Council directed staff to no longer contribute funds to Youth First (officially the Northwestern Anoka County Community Consortium).  As part of that direction, a resolution has been drafted to withdraw from the JPA, thus removing the City of Ramsey's involvement in the JPA.

Unrelated to the above information, Youth First has leased a portion of a city owned building along US Highway 10 for the past several years.  With the highway project under construction with a completion date of spring 2026, the city has informed leases of the near future plans to sell the properties.  Youth First has provided a notice to terminate its lease on or before December 31, 2024.  The termination notice is attached.
