Title:
Declare the Results of the November 5, 2024 General Election
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is to accept and declare the results of the November 5, 2024 General Election.
As per State Statutes, the City Council must serve as a Canvassing Board to accept and declare the results of a local election. The General Election was held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. All 9 polling places were open for voting from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Residents also had the opportunity to vote absentee if they chose, either at Ramsey City Hall, at Anoka County Elections Department, or by mail.
