Swearing-in and Pinning Ceremony for Incoming Police Chief Brad Bluml

The purpose of this presentation is to officially swear-in Police Chief Brad Bluml as the City's new Chief of Police.   City Administrator Brian Hagen will perform the swearing-in portion of this presentation.

Background Chief Bluml started his law enforcement career with the Ramsey Police Department in 2004 as a new Patrol Officer. The highlight of his time on patrol was serving as a Field Training Officer, teaching the new Officers. He served as an investigator in 2012, was promoted to the position of Police Sergeant in 2013, followed by a promotion to Police Captain in 2015.  Today, we honor him as our new Police Chief and are excited to see the Ramsey Police Department grow under his leadership.

Following Chief Bluml's swearing-in presentation, and Chief Bluml's comments, he will be pinned with his new Chief of Police badge #01 by his wife, Anne Bluml. Many of his friends, family, colleagues, and Police Department staff are here tonight to welcome Chief Bluml into his new role as Ramsey's Police Chief.
