Swearing-in and Pinning Ceremony for Captain Nick Dahlberg

The purpose of this presentation is to officially swear-in Police Captain Nick Dahlberg as the City's newest Police Captain.   Mayor Heineman will perform the swearing-in portion of this presentation.

Background: Captain Dahlberg started his law enforcement career with the Ramsey Police Department in May 2004 as a Volunteer Police Reserve Officer.  In October 2004, he was hired as a new Patrol Officer. He served as an investigator for the department from 2016 through 2018, was promoted to Patrol Sergeant in 2022 and then assigned to the position of Administrative Sergeant in 2024, followed by being promoted again to Police Captain in January of this year.     

Following Captain Dahlberg's swearing-in presentation by Chief Bluml, he will be pinned with his new Police Captain badge #03 by his wife, Sondra Dahlberg.   Many of his friends, family, colleagues, and Police Department staff are here tonight to welcome Captain Dahlberg into his new role as Ramsey's newest Police Captain.
