Title:

Adopt Resolution #25-052, Approving a Final Plat and Development Agreement for Waterfront Village 2nd Addition

Purpose/Background:

On February 13th, 2024, the City Council approved the Preliminary Plat and Site Plan for Waterfront Village. The first phase of construction is underway.

The Applicant has now brought forward the second phase of the development, titled "Waterfront Village 2nd Addition". This plat consists of the following:
  • 23 detached townhome lots,
  • Outlot A, which serves as an extension of Alpaca Terrace (a private street) to serve all 23 lots,
  • Outlot B, which serves for a pedestrian connection between Alpaca Terrace and Bunker Lake Boulevard,
  • Outlot C, which includes the balance of undeveloped property reserved for future phases of Waterfront Village.
The proposed plat is consistent with the Preliminary Plat that the City Council approved on February 13th, 2024.

The requested action is to approve the Development Agreement and Final Plat for Waterfront Village. This is the last step in Council actions before Centra Homes can begin constructing the required improvements for the second phase.

No notification is needed for this action.

Funding Source:

All costs associated with this request are the Applicant's responsibility.

Recommendation:

Staff recommends approval of the Final Plat and Development Agreement.

Motion to adopt Resolution #25-052, Approving a Final Plat and Development Agreement for Waterfront Village 2nd Addition.
