Regular Meeting Agenda Order

At a previous work session, council briefly discussed reorganizing the regular meeting agenda layout.  Suggestions included placing the approval of minutes back on the consent agenda, and moving the approval of the agenda immediately following the call to order of the meeting.  For background, historically the minute approval was under the consent agenda.  In 2024, the consensus was to place the item as a separate item on the agenda.  A link to the minutes from that meeting is below.

For general information, an agenda may be in any order desired by the City Council.  Staff will generally place cases where guests are likely to be present as early in the meeting as possible.  The only limitation to Ramsey's agenda comes from a City Charter requirement where citizen input shall be allowed at the beginning of each council meeting.  The general order of the agenda as it sits satisfies this requirement.
