Title:
Adopt Resolution #25-076 Approving Correction of Trail Easement Legal Description for Outlot B, Northfork and Outlot A, Northfork Trail Addition
Purpose/Background:
In 2016, the Northfork Homeowners Association granted a trail easement to the city in a wooded area to the north of that subdivision and generally south of Trott Brook. In December 2024, as part of survey work for clearing and brushing of the trail corridor, a minor error in the legal description was discovered. Adopting Resolution #25-076 authorizes the City Administrator to release the original trail easement and replace and record a trail easement with the correct legal description.
Funding Source:
Funding for preparation of the corrected legal description and recording of the trail easement would be from the 2025 General Fund parks operations budget.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends the adoption of Resolution #25-076.
