Adopt Resolution #25-219 Approving Final Plat of "Zero Zone Addition."

Zero Zone Refrigeration, LLC, has submitted an application for a minor plat to consolidate three parcels and a small portion of vacated right-of-way into one lot to facilitate an upcoming building expansion and associated site improvements.  The site is zoned I-1 Light Industrial District and the proposed 11.44-acre lot meets all the required area and dimensional standards.  

The expansion project, adding production and warehouse space, is mostly administrative in nature.  The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to review a variance to hardcover requirements with the Shoreland Overlay District on October 2.  

Notification for final plats is not required, though other aspects of the project (the vacations and the variance) are being noticed in their typical manner.  

All costs associated with the project are the responsibility of the applicant.  Additionally, the EDA and Council have been working on a business expansion assistance plan to fund a portion of the project (TIF).

Staff recommends approval of the final plat.
