Title:
Adopt the Planning Commission's 2026 Calendar.
Purpose/Background:
City Code Section 106-213 requires the Planning Commission adopt an annual calendar of applicant submittal dates and meeting dates that are in accordance with the 60-day law (MN Statutes 15.99). Attached is the proposed calendar for 2026 that follows the same fourth-Thursday schedule that has been followed for several years. In November and December, the third Thursdays (one week earlier) are proposed due to the Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve holidays, respectively. Delaying those months' meetings until after the holidays does not work for getting applications moved to the next City Council meeting within the 60-day window.
At the August meeting, the Commissioners agreed to move the meeting up a half hour to start at 6:30 pm, in line with other boards and commissions.

Recommendation:
Staff recommends approving the 2026 calendar.
