Adopt Resolution #25-258 Approving Cancellation of Lease at 6701 Hwy 10 NW (God's Kingdom Ministry)

The purpose of this case is to consider cancellation/termination of a lease dated December 9, 2024 (See attached) between the City of Ramsey (the "Landlord") and Gods Kingdom Ministry (the "Tenant").  The existing lease term is February 1, 2025-January 31, 2026 with a monthly rent of $3,879.75.  The Tenant is current on the rent and the City also holds a security deposit for one month's rent on file in the event of defaults by the Tenant or repairs (if needed) at the termination of the lease.  The Tenant has provided a signed Termination of Lease Agreement (drafted by the City Property Manager, Premier Commercial Properties) to exit the lease one month early and staff is supportive of this action.

The requested action is a routine matter and has been placed on the consent agenda for action.  God's Kingdom Ministry has been a good tenant and Staff is supportive of the request by the Tenant to exit the lease one month early without penalty.
