Presentation of 2025 Photo Contest Winners

The purpose of this presentation is to present the winners of the 2025 photo contest. Now in its ninth year, the contest is designed to foster community engagement, showcase the beauty and essence of Ramsey, spotlight local photographic talent, and gather images for use in City publications. 
 
Photos were sorted by four distinct categories to be evaluated on creativity, quality, composition, and how well the images conveyed the theme of its category. 

2025 Category themes are outlined as:

Built Landscapes and Architecture: Explore the harmony between form and function in Ramsey's built environment — whether it's old and full of stories or new and full of interesting designs. Snap photos of industry, modern buildings, areas where nature and the built world interact, or even small designs people might not notice. 
Natural Spaces and Wildlife: Step into Ramsey's outdoors and wild areas. This category celebrates nature — from quiet, beautiful landscapes to all sorts of animals and plants. Whether it's the first morning light over a calm lake or the detailed wings of a butterfly, let nature inspire your photos.
Life in Ramsey: What makes Ramsey, Ramsey? Is it the bustling market days, the quiet streets at dawn, or the vibrant festivals that light up the night? Capture the essence of life in Ramsey, showcasing the people, the events, and everyday moments that together weave the fabric of our community. 
Through My Eyes (youth entry): This is a chance for Ramsey's young people to show us what they see. If you're under 18, tell us about your Ramsey through photos. It could be your favorite spot, people you care about, a hobby, or something you dream about. Show us what grabs your attention and what you love about Ramsey.
