Featured Events:
Garage Sale Trail
Meet your neighbors, find bargains, and rummage through miscellaneous treasures at the second annual city-wide Garage Sale! To participate and have your house listed, please sign up here. A final map and list of all registered garage sales will be published the week of the garage sale.
  • Dates: Thursday, May 14 – Saturday, May 16
  • Cost: FREE
  • Registration: Pre-registration is required. Registration is open until Monday, May 11 at noon. After this time, the map and sales list will be final. No cancellations or changes can be updated after this date.

Dash & Dine 5K AND Kites & Bites
Two events combined into one big family-friendly day at the park! Lace up for the Dash and Dine 5K in partnership with the Ramsey Community Foundation, then stick around for Kites and Bites, cohosted with the Ramsey Lions Club, featuring kites, yard games, food trucks, mini-golf, and more. Whether you are a runner, kite flyer, or just here for the bites and the vibes, there’s something for everyone!
  • Date: Saturday, May 30 at Elmcrest Park
  • 9:30 a.m.: Race starts
  • 10 a.m.: Free mini golf and yard games
  • 10 a.m.: Food trucks open
  • 11 a.m.: Free kite decorating and flying with the Ramsey Lions Club
  • 11 a.m.: Other free activities such as kids’ games with the Ramsey Lions, Spin Art with Anoka Hennepin Early Childhood Family Education, Print Letterpress with Ramsey Community Foundation, mixed media collage art with Rumriver Art Center, and more
  • 2:00 p.m.: Event concludes
  • Cost: $50. All runners will receive a $10 food truck voucher

55+ Day Trip: Crow River Winery
Discover Crow River Winery & Bistro, a scenic 36-acre Minnesota vineyard that nurtures cold-climate grapes with eco-friendly farming practices and crafts every bottle on site. Enjoy a delicious Cranberry Turkey Club lunch, a guided tour and tasting, and then cap off the day with a sweet stop at Sweet Escape in Annandale for ice cream, chocolates, nostalgic candies, and fun gift items before we head back to Ramsey.
  • Date: Wednesday, June 10 from 9:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $95/person, includes tour and tasting, lunch, and round trip transportation from City Hall.
  • Registration: Pre-registration is required, space is limited. Registration closes Sunday, May 10 at midnight, or until full. No refunds can be issued after this date.
  • Ages: 55+

Two Rivers Art Fair
After a record-breaking year with a full booth lineup and waitlist, Two Rivers Art Fair returns to The Draw with live performances, food trucks, hands-on art, local vendors, and more!
  • Date: Saturday, July 18 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at The Draw
  • Cost: FREE to attend.
  • Artist applications are now open through May 17.

Ramsey Farmers Market
Hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with the Ramsey Community Foundation, the market serves as a gathering place to connect with neighbors and support local growers and makers in a welcoming, community-centered setting. Each week, there will be a mix of fresh produce, food items, a limited number of local artisans, and rotating community features highlighting organizations and resources that serve the Ramsey community.
  • Date: Tuesdays, 3 – 6:30 p.m., June 23 – October 6 at The Draw
  • Vendors: We are overwhelmed, in the best way possible, with the enthusiasm and number of applications we have received so far. We are currently full for most produce. However, limited space may be available for unique offerings, as well as local artists selling hand crafted items.
  • New Update: We have officially been authorized to accept SNAP-EBT benefits at our market.
  • Check our website later this month to view a list of weekly vendors and activities.


Upcoming Programs:
Walk with a Naturalist: Birding
Join naturalist Ellen for a guided spring birdwatching! You’ll explore Rum River Central to observe a variety of migratory waterfowl, including ducks, swans, herons, mergansers, and geese. As we move closer to summer, we’ll also encounter an exciting diversity of warblers, such as Prothonotary, Wilson’s, and Canada warblers, along with other forest birds in the canopy.
  • Dates: Sundays, May 3 and May 10 from 8 – 9:30 a.m. at Rum River Central Park
  • Cost: $5/session
  • Registration: Pre-register prior to arrival at the class.
  • Ages: 8+

Line Dancing
Each week you’ll learn a new dance and do a quick review of previous ones. All ages and experience levels are welcome—no partner required. One session remains for this season!
  • Dates: Wednesdays, May 20 – June 10 at Central Park
  • Beginner 4 week session: 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
  • Advanced Beginner 4 week session: 6:45 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
  • Cost: $35/session
  • Registration: Pre-registration is required. Registration is open until full. Participants are welcome to register for both classes back-to-back for two hours of line dancing, as different dances will be taught in each class.

Intro to Pickleball
Want to learn the fun game of pickleball? Join us with a certified instructor for a two-hour introductory clinic that covers all the fundamentals you need to start playing pickleball immediately such as basic rules, scoring, safety, terminology, court positioning, and basic techniques. Paddles and balls are provided.

  •     Saturday, May 9 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Central Park
  •     Sunday, May 31 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Central Park
  •     Saturday, June 13 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Central Park
  • Cost: $20
  • Registration: Pre-registration is required, space is limited. Please only register for one Intro to Pickleball session as all sessions cover the same material.
  • Ages: 15+

Family Learn to Play Pickleball
Looking for a fun and active way to spend time together? Bring your kiddos and join us for an intro to the fastest-growing sport in the country. Your “adult” and “child” team can be any combo- parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle, mentor, fantastic neighbor – whoever your kid loves to play with. This session covers the same material as the general Intro to Pickleball but is geared toward families. To ensure a great experience for every team, we allow up to two kids per adult. Paddles and balls are provided.
  • Date: Sunday, June 28 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Central Park
  • Cost: $20/person
  • Registration: Pre-registration is required, space is limited.
  • Ages: 12+

North Suburban Concert Band Public Performance
Everyone is invited to Central Park for a performance by the North Suburban Concert Band (NSCB), a distinguished community ensemble with over 40 years of performing music. The NSCB is dedicated to fostering the love of performance music among adult musicians of every skill level. Bring your family, favorite chair, or blanket, and enjoy recognizable music from movies, rock hits, marches, and more!
  • Date: Tuesday, June 16 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Central Park
  • Cost: FREE

Wednesday Evening Yoga

Weekly yoga is back at the Public Works building! Immerse yourself in mindful movement and connect to your breath in this hour long session. All levels welcome.
  • Dates: Wednesdays from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Public Works
  • Cost: $5/session
  • Registration: Pre-register prior to arrival at the class.
  • Ages: 13+

Qigong Meditation for Health
Qigong (chee gong) is a holistic system of exercise that aims to strengthen, stretch, balance, and coordinate the body. It is deceptively simple yet can be profoundly healing. Instructor Peggy Brown leads a free weekly practice at City Hall.
  • Dates: Thursdays from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. in the Alexander Ramsey Room at City Hall
  • Cost: FREE
  • Ages: Youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Draw Concert Series
That’s right, the 2026 concert series lineup is here! We are so excited to host this weekly, family-friendly gathering celebrating music and community spirit!
  • Dates: Thursdays, June 18 – August 20, 6:30 – 8 p.m. at The Draw
  • Cost: Free to attend, food and drinks will be available for purchase.

NW Food Truck Fest & Movie in the Park
Ramsey Parks & Recreation is excited to partner with NW Food Truck Fests to host a Food Truck Fest at Central Park in Ramsey! Join us for a day of delicious eats from a variety of food trucks and family-friendly activities in the park. Details on Movie in the Park will be announced next month!
  • Date: Saturday, June 13 from noon – 7 p.m. at Central Park
  • Cost: FREE to attend

Pickleball League
Ramsey Parks and Recreation is excited to offer new state-sanctioned ladder league with Minnesota Pickleball! These ladder leagues will function the same as previous years but are now part of a growing statewide initiative supported by the Minnesota Parks and Recreation Association to create consistent, high-quality pickleball opportunities across Minnesota.
  • Dates:
  •     Late Season League: Wednesdays, July 8 – Sept. 16 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Central Park
  • Cost: $70
  • Registration: Registration is taken through Minnesota Pickleball and will be open until full.

Happy Days
The day starts with the 5K and Youth Fun Run at Elmcrest Park, followed by the parade, expo, food trucks, kids’ activities, musical entertainment, fireworks, and so much more!
  • Date: Saturday, September 12 from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Cost: FREE to attend. Some events have a fee.
