Title:
Adopt Resolution #12-09-XXX Proclaiming September 17 - 23, 2012 as Constitution Week
Background:
Staff received a request from the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) to place a resolution on the agenda for Council adoption proclaiming the week of September 17 - 23, 2012 as Constitution Week. That resolution is attached for Council review and adoption. A representative of the DAR will not be able to attend the meeting, however, they have asked that Mayor Ramsey read the resolution aloud and staff will forward a signed copy to the organization. The reading of this proclamation resolution is also listed under the Presentation portion of the agenda.
Council Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #12-09-XXX Proclaiming September 17 - 23, 2012 as Constitution Week.
