On November 23, 2012, the City Council granted Site Plan Approval to Legacy Christian Academy, a 225,000 square foot private-school on an approximately 90 acre campus. The site plan was approved as part of the ALPHA DEVELOPMENT plat. The necessary public improvements appear to have been completed, subject to final review by the City Engineer, and include Bunker Lake Boulevard and Puma Street. The Subject Property has been graded and is ready to build the planned facility.

In order to finalize details on project phasing and financing, the Developer is requesting an extension to the site plan approval. In June of 2011, the Development Contract was amended to address the timeline for completion of the required Stage I and Stage II Improvements. At this time, as stated above, those improvements have been completed. This request is specific to the private site plan improvements. Site Plan approvals are afforded one (1) year to complete improvements, with the ability for extensions. Extensions have typically been granted in one (1) year increments.

Since site plans are approved by motion, no resolution is required to extend a site plan approval.
