Title:
Report from the Personnel Committee - Meeting Date: September 25, 2012.
Background:
Case 1: Consider a resolution to hire paid-on-call firefighters.
Recommendation:
Case 1: The Personnel Committee recommended approval of resolution #12-10-XXX, to allow staff to hire Jeff Erickson, Alex Merritt, Mike Nelson, Adam Schrag, and Scott Widstrom as Paid-on-call Firefighters at $12.88 per hour effective October 10, 2012.
Funding Source:
Case 1: The funding to hire the above mentioned firefighters in included in the 2012 budget and per the Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Nowthen, the City of Ramsey will be reimbursed for a portion of the salaries for these positions.
Council Action:
Case 1: Motion to approve resolution 12-10-XXX, confirming the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to hire Jeff Erickson, Alex Merritt, Mike Nelson, Adam Schrag, and Scott Widstrom as Paid-on-call Firefighters at $12.88 per hour effective October 10, 2012.
